In 2025 we came back to in-person events in LATAM after a good while away, and we closed out the year with three events in Mexico that show pretty clearly where we stand in the region's tech community.
Here are the three events we ran between October and December, with the concrete numbers behind each one.
JS Conf Guadalajara: Two Days at the Booth and a Talk on Context Engineering
On October 30th and 31st we sponsored JS Conf Guadalajara, one of the most important gatherings for the JavaScript community in Mexico. Our booth was the constant meeting point for both days, with a prize wheel where developers who signed up could win giveaways.
Felipe Ortiz, AI Specialist at Howdy, gave the talk “Context Engineering: Problems & Solutions,” which sparked conversations on the topic among attendees. The conference organizers recognized our space as one of the most visited booths at the event.

Code & Catch: The First Edition of a Different Format
On November 27th we ran the first edition of Code & Catch, an experience that took a group of developers to the Charros de Jalisco stadium to watch a baseball derby against the Águilas de Mexicali from a private suite, with grilled carnitas along the way.
The idea was simple: take the conversation out of a conference hall and put it in a setting where people talk about their careers, their projects, and their questions without the formality of a panel. It was the first time we tried this format, and we're already considering a second edition.

PosaDev: 600 Attendees and the Booth With the Longest Line at the Event
On December 6th we were Diamond Sponsors of PosaDev, a gathering that brought together more than 600 attendees and where our booth was, without question, the busiest.
- Lines up to an hour long to play
- Participants still waiting even when the space temporarily closed
- Games, merch, and a scavenger hunt that kept the audience engaged for more than 90 minutes
Even representatives from companies like Zillow stopped by to congratulate us and see up close how we were generating that level of engagement.
We closed with the talk by Daniel Vega Ceja, Sr. Software Engineer at Howdy, to a packed room: “Modern Hacking and Cybersecurity: How Do We Protect Our Realities?,” about how artificial intelligence, automation, and global interconnectivity are changing cybersecurity, and the challenges that brings.
What These Three Events Left Us
Between JS Conf, Code & Catch, and PosaDev, we closed out the year with a presence across three different formats: a large technical conference, an exclusive networking event, and a major sponsorship with large-scale activities. Each one measured something different (qualified leads, quality conversations, brand visibility), and all three delivered.
For 2026 the goal is specific: repeat what worked, run a second edition of Code & Catch, and keep showing up where the developer community in Mexico and LATAM is.
