Community Lead
Key responsibilities
- Lead the pod, ensuring priorities, tasks, and commitments are effectively managed.
- Coordinate priorities and timelines to ensure team commitments are delivered successfully.
- Maintain visibility into ongoing work, keeping the team organized and accountable.
- Translate departmental priorities into clear, actionable plans for the team.
- Act as a first point of contact for routine operational questions, challenges, and escalations.
- Support the onboarding, development, and day-to-day guidance of teammates within the pod.
- Work independently within established processes, goals, and priorities.
- Oversee daily office operations to ensure a productive and efficient work environment.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and general office maintenance.
- Coordinate office schedules, meetings, and events, ensuring smooth logistics.
- Act as the main point of contact for all office-related inquiries.
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, correspondence, and record-keeping.
- Foster a positive and welcoming community culture for employees and visitors.
- Assist with onboarding new team members and ensure they have the necessary resources.
- Manage relationships with service providers and vendors (e.g., cleaning, maintenance, IT support).
- Ensure office safety protocols are followed and manage emergency procedures.
- Handle small-scale tasks, such as tracking attendance or managing office-based activities.
Main skills and qualifications
- 4+ years of proven experience as an office manager or event coordinator.
- Based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
- Proven experience leading projects/ managing people.
- Excellent English and Spanish communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized and operationally minded.
- Comfortable coordinating work across multiple stakeholders.
- Skilled at influencing outcomes without relying on authority.
- A strong communicator who creates clarity and alignment.
- Naturally proactive and solutions-oriented.
- Excellent at balancing competing priorities.
- Comfortable identifying and removing blockers.
- Focused on accountability, consistency, and follow-through.
