Summary of the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to own the financial measurement layer behind a consumer financial services business: settlements, cost structures, and cash flows. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you won't wait for pre-scoped tickets — you will independently set the analytical agenda, design reporting systems, surface financial and operational risks, and translate loosely defined questions into clear analytical frameworks for Finance leadership and business units.

Desired Skills

  • Full-Time availability
  • Advanced English (C1) or above
  • 3+ years in analytics, BI, or FP&A roles, with proven progression to senior-level ownership of reporting systems
  • Advanced SQL and Snowflake expertise: high fluency in complex aggregations, cohort analysis, time-series comparisons, and financial reconciliation
  • Proven ability to build and maintain executive-facing Tableau dashboards for operational and financial tracking
  • Working knowledge of unit economics, cost allocation, margin analysis, and cost-to-settle metrics
  • Active use of AI tools (LLMs, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate query writing, documentation, and data exploration
  • Comfortable pushing back constructively on ill-formed requests and driving analytical projects end-to-end

Responsibilities

  • Reporting architecture: design and build multi-domain reporting systems for settlement performance, cost-to-settle, creditor payout benchmarks, and negotiator productivity
  • Executive & operational briefings: deliver daily settlement summaries, weekly financial trend reports, and executive-facing dashboards used by leadership to make operating decisions
  • Ambiguity to frameworks: translate unstructured business questions ("where is margin leaking?", "what is the true cost per settlement?") into rigorous data frameworks and unit economic models
  • Data quality: partner with Data Engineering to identify, escalate, and reconcile data quality issues across Snowflake financial tables
  • AI-assisted analytics: actively adopt LLM/Copilot workflows to accelerate data analysis and share best practices across the analytics team
  • Cross-functional alignment: connect operational metrics across Negotiations, Client Services, and Finance back to program economics and margin optimization

Nice-to-Haves

  • Formal background or coursework in Finance, FP&A, or Economics
  • Experience in direct-to-consumer financial services, debt settlement, or fintech

Who You Are

  • You push back constructively: you're unafraid to challenge ill-formed requests and refine business logic before building
  • You identify risks proactively, surfacing financial and operational margin leaks before being asked
  • You communicate well with executives, explaining complex financial and data nuances clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Some benefits:

  • 🏢 Offices in some cities
  • 🖥️ 100% remote work
  • ⌚ Full-time schedule, flexible according to objectives
  • 🏖️ PTO & holidays
  • ⚕️ Medical insurance
