Summary of the Role

We are looking for a design-minded, highly organized Shopify Ecommerce Manager to lead website redesigns, major product launches, and ongoing site optimizations. Sitting at the intersection of creative, merchandising, marketing, operations, and development teams, this is a non-coding role focused on project management, Shopify data architecture (metafields/metaobjects), and enforcing rigorous visual and functional QA processes for every release.

Desired Skills

  • Advanced English Level
  • Full-time Availability
  • Shopify / Shopify Plus Mastery: 4+ years of hands-on experience managing products, variants, collections, navigation, and landing pages inside Shopify or Shopify Plus.
  • Advanced Shopify Data Structures: Practical experience structuring metafields and metaobjects to power custom theme templates and complex store architectures.
  • Ecommerce Project Management: Proven track record leading site redesigns, product drops, and promotional campaigns across cross-functional teams.
  • Visual & Design Judgment: Strong eye for digital design principles, layout hierarchy, typography, mobile responsiveness, and visual consistency.
  • Rigorous QA & Process Engineering: Ability to create formal SOPs, test scripts, and structured bug-tracking workflows (via Asana, Jira, or ClickUp) to catch issues before going live.
  • Non-Coding Technical Literacy: Deep understanding of web development workflows, custom themes (Figma handoffs), and third-party app integrations without writing code.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Launch Management: Lead website design initiatives and product drops from timeline planning through developer handoff, pre-launch QA, and post-launch reviews.
  • Shopify Data & Content Architecture: Organize products, variants, collections, custom templates, metafields, and metaobjects to cleanly power custom theme features.
  • Design & Visual Quality Control: Enforce high standards for typography, spacing, visual hierarchy, and mobile responsiveness alongside design teams.
  • QA & Bug Tracking: Build repeatable test plans covering responsive layouts, cart/checkout functionality, customer journeys, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • SOPs & Process Engineering: Create documentation, SOPs, and standardized workflows to streamline recurring ecommerce activities and improve team scalability.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional launches with external dev agencies or freelance liquid developers.
  • Deep familiarity using Figma for design QA and visual inspection against live staging sites.
  • Experience managing third-party app stacks (subscriptions, upsells, inventory sync) within Shopify Plus setups.

Who You Are

  • Attention to Detail: You catch minor spacing, typography, and functional glitches on mobile or desktop before customers ever notice them.
  • High Organization & Systems Thinker: You prefer building scalable SOPs, clear checklists, and repeatable test plans over last-minute firefighting.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestrator: You communicate effortlessly between non-technical creative teams and technical web developers, translating business goals into clear project specs.

Some benefits:

  • 🖥️ 100% remote work
  • ⌚ Full-time schedule, flexible according to objectives
  • 🏖️PTO & holidays
  • 💻 Laptop.
