Jr. Social Media Analyst
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of social media content calendars across multiple platforms, ensuring content is delivered on time and aligned with strategic objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative and Community teams to develop content plans that support brand goals.
- Monitor content performance and assist in preparing reports and insights based on key social media metrics and trends.
- Stay up to date on social media trends, platform updates, emerging formats, and cultural conversations to identify timely and relevant content opportunities.
- Attend tech events held in Colombia and surrounding markets, capturing content and identifying opportunities for real-time social engagement.
- Maintain organized content calendars, project timelines, and workflows to ensure efficient execution across multiple initiatives.
- Bring a proactive, curious, and collaborative mindset to daily tasks and team initiatives.
- Incorporate feedback constructively and continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, content quality, and overall performance.
Main Skills and Qualifications:
- Based in Bogota, Colombia.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
- 1+ year of experience in social media marketing, whether through an agency, freelance work, internships, or UGC/content creation.
- Advanced English level (both spoken and written).
- Experience creating and editing short-form video content for social media platforms.
- Passion for social media, digital culture, and staying up to date with trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats.
- Availability to work from the office at least once per week.
- Availability to attend in-person events and travel occasionally within Colombia and surrounding markets as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and a polished approach to content creation and execution.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Outgoing personality with the ability to build relationships with team members, creators, clients, and event attendees.
- Positive attitude, openness to feedback, and willingness to learn.
- Eagerness to grow professionally and continue developing social media, content, and marketing skills.
