Summary of the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Edge & Cloud Platform) to lead the critical application layer connecting physical device hardware to cloud execution environments. In this hands-on role (spanning Linux edge devices and cloud platforms), you will own device control state machines, image acquisition services, tokenized security boundaries, event-driven orchestration, and resilient, idempotent data pipelines.

Desired Skills

  • Advanced English Level (strong verbal and written English communication skills)
  • Full-time Availability
  • 5+ years of experience building and shipping reliable production applications spanning system boundaries (device↔cloud or backend↔hardware).
  • Advanced Python proficiency with strong skills in FastAPI, OpenAPI, Pydantic, typed contracts, and API design.
  • Proven experience with state machines, idempotent processing, retries, reconciliation loops, and event-driven architectures.
  • Strong engineering habits around unit, integration, and contract testing, alongside automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience or comfort leveraging modern AI coding workflows (Cursor, Claude, Copilot) to accelerate delivery while maintaining architectural ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Build restart-safe edge controllers and camera acquisition services as production-grade applications on Linux hardware.
  • Implement lossless image/video packaging, checksum verification, and resumable data transfers to cloud storage.
  • Design on-device data security boundaries and tokenized device-to-server contracts with authenticated control APIs.
  • Architect event-driven cloud processing pipelines with idempotent job launches, retries, and immutable result delivery.
  • Establish contract testing, CI/CD automation, and software traceability required for regulated compliance standards.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Direct GCP architecture experience using Eventarc, Firestore, and Cloud Run Jobs.
  • Embedded Linux hardware exposure (NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, V4L2, FFmpeg).
  • Experience with healthcare data standards or regulated medical device software compliance (IEC 62304, HL7v2, FHIR).
  • Basic familiarity with TypeScript for operator UI interfaces.
  • Experience with Docker, Terraform/OpenTofu, and GPU job execution environments.

Who You Are

  • Takes personal responsibility for end-to-end system reliability, failure modes, and data accuracy.
  • Navigates complex, underspecified technical goals and drives hard integration work to completion independently.
  • Natural application engineer obsessed with edge cases, restart safety, network drops, and data integrity under physical hardware failure.
  • Comfortable embedding traceability, security controls, and regulatory rigor directly into initial architectures.

.Some benefits:

  • 🏢 Offices in some cities
  • 🖥️ 100% remote work
  • ⌚ Full-time schedule, flexible according to objectives
  • 🏖️PTO & holidays
  • ⚕️Medical insurance
