PX Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the People Experience team, ensuring processes are executed consistently, efficiently, and with a high standard of quality.
- Oversee and continuously improve core employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, legal documentation, and recurring PX operations.
- Manage and support US-related People Operations, including healthcare benefits, retirement plans and overall benefits package as well as compliance requirements.
- Own and coordinate key company-wide People initiatives such as Performance Reviews, employee engagement surveys/eNPS, employee snapshots, benefits enrollment, and succession planning.
- Act as focal point for employees’ legal aspects, their documentation and related processes.
- Ensure existing People processes and policies remain effective, identifying opportunities to simplify, automate, or improve them as the company grows.
- Lead, support, and develop the PX team, providing guidance, prioritizing work, and stepping in to resolve operational issues when needed.
- Act as an escalation point for complex or time-sensitive employee and operational matters, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and resolve issues quickly.
- Partner with employees at all levels building professional relationships; understand and respond to team requirements, providing direction, coaching and guidance as required.
- Partner closely with leadership and managers across the organization, translating business needs into practical People processes and solutions.
- Maintain strong visibility into ongoing PX initiatives, risks, deadlines, and employee matters, ensuring appropriate follow-up and accountability.
- Use People data, employee feedback, and operational insights to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Support the evolution of People programs while balancing structure and process with the flexibility required in a fast-growing environment.
- Remain hands-on, comfortably moving between strategic discussions, team leadership, and operational execution.
Main Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience leading People, HR Operations, People Operations, or similar functions.
- Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate confidently in professional and leadership-level conversations.
- Availability to work on-site. Hybrid position.
- Strong hands-on experience managing employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, and recurring HR operations.
- Previous experience supporting US-based employees and strong knowledge of US benefits and related People processes.
- Experience owning or coordinating programs such as performance reviews, engagement surveys/eNPS, benefits, and succession or talent planning.
- Background in both structured organizations and fast-paced or scaling environments is highly valued. Experience in technology, staffing, consulting, or companies with business models similar to Howdy is a plus.
- Strong process mindset, with the ability to understand how workflows connect, identify gaps, and build scalable solutions.
- Proven ability to lead teams while remaining highly hands-on and willing to step into operational work when necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle urgent situations, competing priorities, and unexpected issues effectively.
- High adaptability and comfort operating in environments where priorities and processes may evolve quickly.
- Curious and proactive mindset, consistently looking for ways to improve existing processes and add value beyond the immediate task.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to explain processes clearly and work closely with senior leadership.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ownership, and follow-through.
