Engineer Manager (Guadalajara - MX)
As the Senior Engineer Manager, you will:
- Oversee engineers and drive strategy and execution across multiple engineering teams, such as Shared Services.
- Own the technical direction and delivery of these teams, as well as hiring plans and career growth of engineers.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, Data, and other stakeholders to create strategic direction and roadmap.
- Manage teams to maintain and improve essential services that support Earnest’s core user experiences, ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance.
- Partner with other engineering leaders to improve engineering practices, processes, and culture across the org.
Desired Skills:
- 6+ years of software engineering experience.
- 4+ years of developing large-scale web-based application systems.
- 2+ years of management/supervision experience of software development project teams
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with a track record of building and leading successful engineering teams.
- Track record of owning and delivering production-critical services with high availability, reliability, and scalability in complex engineering environments.
- Extensive experience in a NodeJS ecosystem.
- Clear and effective communicator with a collaborative, data-informed approach to decision-making.
