FinOps Manager

We are looking for a FinOps Manager to play a pivotal role in fostering professional growth and excellence. In this dynamic position, you will contribute to the success of our US clients by guiding our talented team to build fulfilling careers aligned with organizational goals. 

As a mentor and communicator, you will foster open communication channels while your proactive problem-solving skills will address operational and financial challenges. Your strategic management expertise will enhance team efficiency, and your role as a partnership expert will ensure enduring client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with US managers to help the teammates that they hire to succeed: 

  • Build regular one-on-ones with clients without being intrusive. 
  • Collect feedback about how Howdy teammates are performing. 
  • Build trust and strong relationships with the hiring managers in the US. 
  • Implement feedback that US clients might have about the performance of teammates. 
  • Look for opportunities for team growth with US managers .
  • Collaborate with other Howdy managers to solve customer problems. 
  • Develop strategies to mitigate risks and implement preventive measures; use insight from the clients and the professionals to detect risk early. 

Become our client’s strategic partner: 

  • Understand the organization's setup and operations for effective team management (org chart, challenges, objectives). 
  • Interpret situations accurately and provide well-informed guidance to Howdy’s teammates. 


Mentor a group of Howdy professionals: 

  • Build trust and strong relationships with your group of Howdy professionals. 
  • Actively engage with the teammates to understand their needs and concerns. 
  • Be their primary point of contact. 
  • Provide guidance and support for career progression, overcoming challenges, and seeing difficult situations as opportunities. 
  • Promote good communication with clients and coach them to become top performers. 

Talent acquisition and assessment: 

  • Conduct interviews and assess potential candidates


Qualifications:

  • English proficiency 
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field 
  • Proven experience working with/within finance and operations teams 
  • At least five years of experience managing teams 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive risk mitigation ability 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
