Desired Skills:
- B2 and above English level
- + 3 years of professional experience in the IT industry, as a Web Scraping Engineer/ Software Developer or similar position.
- Strong technical background in Python
- Experience with web scraping techniques (+3 years)
- Experience managing bot detection
- Experience with browser automation tools such as Puppeteer, Playwright, and Selenium
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with asynchronous programming
- Knowledge of web security principles
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable, maintainable, and efficient web scrapers for long-term data extraction
- Implement robust architectures using object-oriented programming principles
- Utilize browser automation tools such as Puppeteer, Playwright, and Selenium to handle JavaScript-heavy websites
- Manage session handling, authentication, and proxy management to avoid detection and maintain scraper reliability
- Optimize scraping strategies for efficiency, concurrency, and data accuracy using asynchronous programming
- Work with various storage solutions, including SQL and NoSQL databases, to manage extracted data
- Apply web security principles to handle authentication, encryption, and anti-bot mechanisms
- Debug and troubleshoot complex scraping issues, including handling obfuscated code
