2025 marked our return to in-person events across LATAM, and to close out an incredible year, we wanted to highlight the last three events that perfectly captured our mission: building community, connecting talent, and positioning Howdy as a leading reference within Mexico and Latin America’s tech ecosystem.

The end of 2025 was exactly that: a series of experiences where Howdy didn’t just participate, but stood out, led, and made a lasting impact.

From massive conferences to exclusive gatherings, these were the three events that defined our year-end.

  1. JS Conf Guadalajara: Howdy at the center of the JavaScript conversation
  2. On October 30th and 31st, we sponsored JS Conf Guadalajara, one of the most important gatherings for the JavaScript community in Mexico.

For two days, our booth became a constant meeting point for developers who stopped by to meet us, connect with our team, and join interactive activities like our prize wheel, where attendees could win giveaways after signing up.

One of the most memorable moments was the participation of Felipe Ortiz, AI Specialist at Howdy, who took the stage with his talk: “Context Engineering: Problems & Solutions.”

His presentation sparked valuable conversations about the future of development, and positioned us as an active voice within the ecosystem.

The impact was so strong that the event organizers recognized our space as one of the most attractive booths at the entire conference, making this activation a key step in strengthening our presence in Mexico’s tech community and generating highly qualified leads within the JavaScript world.

  3. Code & Catch: Networking, community, and a home run
  4. On November 27th, we took connection to the next level with the first edition of Code & Catch, an exclusive experience that invited developers to the Charros de Jalisco stadium to watch a baseball derby against the Águilas de Mexicali from a private suite, while enjoying grilled carnitas and plenty of networking.

This event was designed to create a different space where the community could share insights, career paths, and aspirations in an authentic and culturally relevant environment like baseball.

Attendees connected directly with our Howdy team, exchanged ideas about their journeys in tech, and experienced firsthand how we continue building community through experiences that inspire, unite, and generate opportunities.

  5. PosaDev: the most visited booth and an unforgettable closing
  6. The final major event of 2025 took place on December 6th, where we served as Diamond Sponsors of PosaDev, a gathering of more than 600 attendees — and where our booth was, without a doubt, the busiest of the entire event.

    • Lines of up to an hour to play our games
    • Participants waiting even when the booth temporarily closed
    • Games, merch, and interactive dynamics that kept the audience engaged for over 90 minutes thanks to our scavenger hunt

The feedback from attendees was clear: our presence wasn’t just seen, it was felt.

Even companies like Zillow approached us to congratulate the team and observe the engagement dynamic we created.

The perfect closing moment came with the presentation by Daniel Vega Ceja, Sr. Software Engineer at Howdy, who wrapped up the conference with a fully crowded room and maximum visibility: “Modern Hacking & Cybersecurity: How do we protect our realities?”

A conversation exploring how artificial intelligence, automation, and global interconnectivity are transforming the present and future of cybersecurity, addressing ethical, technological, and human challenges under the concept of “realities.”

PosaDev confirmed something important: the close of 2025 marked a turning point in our presence within Latin America’s tech community.

  7. 2025 was the foundation for an even bigger 2026
  8. These last three events of 2025, along with all the others we created and supported throughout the year, were not just activations. They were a statement:

    • Our presence is strong within the region.
    • Building community is what we do best.
    • We connect tech talent with top-tier opportunities in the United States.

2025 ended with energy, visibility, and relationships that continue growing today.

    This is only the beginning.
