Howdy at Talent Land: three days of networking and innovation

Howdy kicked off April by participating as a sponsor at Talent Land in Mexico City. With a stand in Developer Land, next to the main stage, it boosted networking and captured key insights on artificial intelligence, community, and the future of tech work.

On April 7th, 8th, and 9th, we participated as sponsors at Talent Land in Mexico City, one of the most important tech events in the region.

Over three days, more than 30,000 people came together to learn, create, and connect with the future — and Howdy was right there, actively part of that energy.

More than just an event, it was an intense, dynamic, and deeply inspiring experience.

  1. The pulse of Talent Land, from the inside
  2. From the very beginning, the spirit of Talent Land was clear: constant learning, exchange of ideas, and a community open to sharing. With over 500 speakers, hackathons, startup battles, tech experiences, robots, and even camping zones, the event offered something for every profile within the tech ecosystem.

In that context, Howdy made its presence felt in Developer Land, strategically located next to the main stage. Our booth became a meeting point where developers and engineers could learn more about us, explore open opportunities, and, above all, connect with our team.

What set us apart was the experience: a dynamic and approachable interaction where visitors could spin our wheel, win prizes, and take away more than just a giveaway — a real connection with Howdy. And yes, Dude, our mascot, was also a star: photos, laughs, and spontaneous moments that made our booth truly memorable.

  3. A booth that made people stay
  4. The flow of attendees was constant throughout the three days. More than 950 people registered at our booth to participate in activities, joining a community we had already started building before the event through a pre-campaign that attracted over 450 participants competing for tickets.

But beyond the numbers, what truly made a difference was the quality of the interactions. Many attendees highlighted how much they enjoyed the booth, the closeness of the team, and the value of learning firsthand what Howdy does and how we work.

Genuine conversations emerged — the kind that don’t always happen at large-scale events — where the focus wasn’t just on what we do, but on how we do it.

  6. The event was also a window into where the industry is heading. Talks like the one by Brais Moure made one thing clear: building software goes far beyond coding — it involves analyzing, designing, communicating, adapting, and constantly evolving.

In conversations with attendees, there was a strong consensus: communication and community are key to growing in tech. Sharing context, learning together, and supporting one another truly make a difference.

As for the future, artificial intelligence emerged as a central topic. Rather than replacing jobs, it is seen as an enabler: it will generate more work, but also more specialized roles, creating new opportunities and competitive advantages on a global scale.

And if there was one thing everyone agreed on as the best part of Talent Land, it was:

    • networking
    • immersive experiences
    • video games and robots
    • and the opportunity to connect with other passionate tech professionals

  7. Three days that made an impact
  8. Talent Land reinforced the kind of presence we aim to build at Howdy: close, authentic, and people-focused.

It’s not just about being there — it’s about how we show up. About creating spaces where interaction is real, where the brand comes to life through experiences, and where every conversation adds value.
