Role Summary:
We are looking for a BIM Software Designer. This role goes beyond traditional modeling; it focuses on building an intelligent, parametric design tool that automates engineering and manufacturing logic for critical infrastructure projects. You will help bridge the gap between civil engineering requirements and automated production data.
Desired Skills:
- B2 and above English level
- +4 years of experience in BIM Software Development, CAD tools, or geometric modeling (Ideal profile)
- +2 years of experience with C#, C++, or Python applied to geometric modeling and spatial mathematics
- Strong experience with BIM APIs such as Revit API, Civil 3D API, or standalone 3D engines like Three.js, Rhino/Grasshopper, or CAD kernels
- Experience building configurator-style tools where user inputs drive complex 3D geometry generation
- Ability to manage complex relational data, ensuring that design parameter changes automatically update related structural components and bill of materials
Responsibilities:
- Design and build specialized modules for manholes and storm inlet systems
- Develop parametric 3D geometric logic and automated design workflows
- Ensure interoperability with Revit, AutoCAD, IFC formats, and other BIM standards
- Integrate ASTM and AASHTO standards into the design process
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product stakeholders to improve usability and workflows
- Create intuitive tools that simplify complex engineering design processes
Plus Experience:
- Experience in the precast concrete industry
- Knowledge of civil infrastructure or storm drainage systems
- Experience building design-to-fabrication tools for the AEC industry
